Shed Building is mainly a simple, one floor building in the backyard or in any place which is used for storage, gardening, and workshop of any such other reason. Shed buildings are basically small structures which are attached to the permanent buildings or are standing alone near the permanent buildings. These buildings are generally open from the sides or from the front.
Sheds are different considering their structure of their construction and their size. Shed Building may be a small structure or a big one. It may be made up of tin or wood or plastic or any such other material. Some sheds which are attached to the industries or which are used to store the agricultural produce are huge.These buildings are of different types, they are tiny household sheds, big industrial shed and special utility sheds. Tiny household shed buildings are the buildings found attached to a farm house or nearby it. This type is the least expensive type. They are generally available in self construction kits. They may be used to store all such articles which are not suitable to be stored in the houses. Big industrial shed buildings are those which are found near the industrial units. These buildings may be large in size as they can contain many things starting from the raw materials required in the industries to the finished goods produced by the industry. These buildings may have shutters to protect it from theft.
Special utility sheds are those which store specific goods. Some of the special utility shed buildings are car sheds which have cars parked inside them. They may be comparatively big. There are farm sheds which store farm products including fertilizers seeds and crops.These buildings can be made up of many different types of materials like metal, wood, plastic, fiber, rubber etc. Metal shed buildings are made up of slim plates of metal. It can be aluminum iron steel or any other such metal. Generally metal shed buildings are not preferred as they may rust and also they are costly.
Another type is wooden type. Wooden shed buildings are mostly used in farm houses. As it suits the environment they are also used as garden sheds. These buildings are the most common type as its construction is not that difficult and are not expensive.Plastic Shed Buildings are the most modern type of shed buildings. Now a day plastic which is manmade is used in all departments pf household. As it is man made there is no question of extinction of that resource. So it is cheap. Plastic generally is very light in weight so it becomes easy to construct a plastic shed. Plastic shed buildings generally do not require any maintenance as it is water proof, wind proof, rust proof. There are many other types of buildings which are constructed in different parts of the world.
