Garage buildings generally are place where automobiles are parked.
In most of the garages there will be an outlet in front of the building for the vehicles to enter and exit.
Normally these buildings have a manual shutter which has to be opened physically to enter the garage. But now days there are electric shutters which work on radio frequency. Here there is a button in the vehicle which controls the opening and closing of these buildings. This save the physical hardship and becomes easy for the user. Such technology is being used by majority of people in developed countries these days.
Generally these buildings are in front of the gate of the premises or the compound so that it’s easy for the driver to park the vehicle in the garage buildings. Garage buildings have many advantages like it protects the car from theft. It also protects the car from the sunlight when parked. These buildings need not be used only for parking. Garage buildings can be used for storage also. One can store stuff which is not or cannot be stored in the houses. Some objects which are too big to be stored in houses, like grass cutters, electrics water sprays etc. Sand used for gardening, fertilizers, pesticides can be stored in these buildings. The garage buildings are not only the small shed found besides the house. There are garage buildings in industrial areas, corporate buildings, malls etc. As the number of visitors in malls and industrial units is high vehicles coming are also quite high, so to provide parking to all the vehicles a huge place is required. So due to the insufficiency of land in today’ era people have come across with an idea of vertical expansion of land. Multi storey garage buildings are built where large number of vehicles can be parked. In some places these garage buildings have mechanical or electrical system to park the cars. Here the vehicles need not be driven to the top floor to be parked. One has to keep his vehicle in one particular place then the automatic elevators transport the vehicle to the desired floor and empty place for parking. It also brings the vehicle down when the owner wants to drive away. In such places time of the owners who are generally busy with their office work is saved. Such buildings require high maintenance and the installation costs of such buildings are quiet high. A residential garage building is a part of the house which can at most park to vehicles depending upon the size al also is used to store different types of materials. Industrial or corporate garage buildings are a huge multi storey structure which is used to park many number of vehicles. So these types of buildings are of different type, different sizes and are made up of different material.
